Project

WHAT IT’S ALL ABOUT

Lessons In Israeli Leadership is a bold effort to analyse and reveal Israel's cultural imprint on the leadership best practices of the country's most outstanding leaders.

Extending prevalent research on the underlying factors of Israel’s success stories as a hotspot for innovation, technology and unconventional thinking, the program Lessons In Israeli Leadership is the first of its kind to put a behavioral lens on the leadership culture that fuels this phenomenon.

We aim to unravel the way Israeli leaders guide and impact teams, communities and organisations and are putting a spotlight on those who should know best – Israel's most stellar, daring and inspiring leaders.

Mission

IMPACTING CORPORATE CULTURES WOLDWIDE

From its very inception, this project was designed to facilitate real organisational change and improve leadership culture in organisations worldwide.

We are doing our best to make actionable insights from our research accessible to a broad international audience on a daily basis.

While we are certainly targeting international leaders and executives, it is just as vital for us to inspire the next generation of young, aspiring Israeli leaders at home.

GROUNDING ISRAEL'S SUCCESS FACTORS IN DATA

One goal of this project is to condense the insights from our in-depth interviews with Israel's high-profile leaders into a large-scale analysis of behavioural patterns inherent to the Israeli way of leadership.

We believe that the Israeli leadership culture has a great deal to contribute to the global discussion on leadership and organisational development. Therefore, we are exploring collaborations with leading researchers focusing on leadership, organisational culture and team development to ground our findings in the latest academic data available.

PROMOTING ISRAEL BY PROMOTING THE ISRAELI MINDSET

Zooming in on the best practices of Israeli leadership, this project considers itself nothing short of a global ambassador of Israel and the Israeli culture as a whole.

We believe that the Israeli leadership style is marked by an employee-centric approach to team management and grounded in a deep appreciation for personal relationships.

With this in mind, we are proud to position Israel as a role model for human-centred leadership done right.

Team

WHO WE ARE

We are an interdisciplinary team of professionals, researchers and leadership enthusiasts with multicultural backgrounds.

While this effort is fully self-funded, we are kindly supported by a network of strategic partners both in Israel and abroad, helping us to turn our ambitious ideas into reality.

WHERE WE STARTED

This project was initiated by Stanislaw Grünstein, a German-Israeli organisational psychologist and innovation executive, building bridges between European companies and Israel's tech ecosystem.

Having been heading business collaborations between foreign and Israeli organisations for years himself, he came to understand that there is far more the world could learn from Israel than its championship in technology. As it turns out, the Israeli way of building, leading and sustaining organisations might be just as valuable of a lesson to learn.
