“A leader has to be both adaptable and multi-disciplinary. They need to be able to relate to a variety of people, perspectives, and circumstances.
In short, a leader is someone who can always take a step back to see the big picture.”

Yaniv Rivlin is Senior Director at Bird, serving as both Head of EMEA Government Partnerships and Regional General Manager. As the 2nd international employee outside the US, he joined Bird in 2018 and launched the company's service in Israel by introducing the first shared e-scooter on the streets of Tel Aviv. On a mission to provide eco-friendly transportation for everyone, Yaniv has held multiple leadership positions within the company and oversaw virtually all aspects of its local strategy, expansion and policy. Prior to his tenure at Bird, Yaniv was Senior Program Officer at the Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation. There he relaunched and managed the renowned REALITY Israel program, a series of customised transformative leadership journeys to Israel designed to reignite participants’ passion for Israel and improving the world.

Alongside his professional career, Yaniv has served as an ambassador for the OneVoice Movement, a global initiative of the PeaceWorks Foundation that empowers activists working to transform the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

In addition to a number of academic awards and fellowships, Yaniv was selected as one of Israel's "40 under 40" by TheMarker magazine and as one of 10 Israeli trailblazers by Samsung and Haaretz newspaper.
