Regine Shevach serves as Israel Country Speaker of the multinational science and technology company headquartered in Germany. As such, she leads three of Merck's Israeli affiliates as their Managing Director and Board Member: Inter-Lab, Merck's biopharma R&D center, Qlight Nanotech, established in collaboration with Yissum Technology Transfer Company of the Hebrew University and the Israel Innovation Authority, and Versum Materials Israel, both in the area of electronics.

With over 20 years of experience in the biotech industry, Regine is continuously and actively involved in scouting and promoting Israeli science and technology innovation for Merck and for Merck’s VC activities. Under the roof of Inter-Lab’s facility in Yavne, she was involved in the establishment of several incubators and innovation labs, now growing and supporting a number of promising Israeli startups in the areas of healthcare, life science and electronics – Merck's core sectors of business.
